Join our Nutmeg Book Club! Ms. Lauren served on the 2021 Middle School Nutmeg Committee and is excited to discuss the 10 nominees with you. Readers are invited to discuss the 2021 candidates for the Middle School Nutmeg award, answer trivia questions, and do an activity related to the books. This months book is The Stars Beneath Our Feet by David Barclay Moore. This library program is for tweens in grades 6-8. This program will be done on Zoom.

ArtScapades will look at the influence of Japanese art and culture on French and American Impressionism. This lecture begins with a look at two of Japan’s master printmakers, Hokusai and Hiroshige, and will then move on to discuss their influence on well known names of the Impressionist movement including Claude Monet, Edgar Degas, Mary Cassatt, William Merritt Chase and Childe Hassam.
